PadelHaus

This project involved the transformation of an existing car park at the Fort Dunlop development into a premium padel facility for PadelHues. The site presented a number of challenges, requiring careful planning and innovative construction solutions to maximise the available space.

To accommodate three padel courts within the restricted area, we carried out extensive groundworks, including the construction of a 24-metre-long retaining wall standing approximately 2.4 metres high. This allowed us to overcome the level differences and create a suitable platform for the new courts. To enhance the appearance of the structure, the concrete retaining wall was finished with stylish timber cladding, creating a modern feature that complemented the surrounding development.

Additional retaining works were completed using sleeper walls, incorporating built-in bench seating to create functional social spaces for players and visitors.

The completed facility features three panoramic padel courts supplied by Portico, creating a modern and open playing environment. The courts were finished with contrasting surfaces, including two teal turf courts and one striking black turf court, providing a unique visual finish across the facility.

To complete the development, we installed a bespoke front perimeter fencing system that matched the modern style of the facility. A large social area was created alongside the courts, with all pathways and surrounding areas finished in high-quality social turf to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for players and spectators.

This project showcases our ability to deliver fully bespoke padel developments, combining complex groundworks, creative landscaping and premium finishes to create a standout facility in a challenging urban environment.
